After the emotional farewell to CITY in 2022, Toni Krahl, the unmistakable voice and face of the legendary rock band, is returning to the stage with a new musical project from November 2025. Toni Krahl will go on tour throughout Germany with his "KINX vom Prenzlauer Berg".
In his luggage: his first solo album "Genauso war's" - a work that is full of profound and at the same time familiar songs and ties in with his more than 50-year stage career.
Toni Krahl, who already wrote music history as the frontman of CITY with hits such as "Am Fenster", feels a deep longing for the old songs after the end of the band. In order to rekindle this passion and rally his fans - the dedicated CITY community - once again, he founded his own band: KINX vom Prenzlauer Berg. However, this constellation promises far more than a continuation of the CITY era. Krahl combines the band's classics with his fresh solo material in a unique way, telling deeply moving stories and reflecting his artistic development over the last few decades.
With "Genauso war's", Toni Krahl once again proves his ability to transform autobiographical experiences and social issues into catchy and meaningful songs. His tour will offer an exciting mix of new material and the unforgettable CITY hits that not only evoke nostalgia, but also once again demonstrate his powerful stage presence.
