Every year during the last week of September, Intercultural Week takes place throughout Germany, offering an opportunity to showcase the diversity of our city as well. All organizations, clubs, and individuals have the chance to participate in intercultural dialogue and get involved. In Neubrandenburg, a wide variety of groups get involved every year to put together a vibrant and, above all, diverse program. Art exhibitions, readings, festivals, theater performances, film screenings, and much more offer numerous opportunities to learn about different cultures, traditions, customs, and new perspectives, and send a strong message about Neubrandenburg as a city of diversity.
