Coffee Cinema at Latücht: A MUNICH MAN IN HEAVEN

Coffee cinema on a Sunday afternoon

Maximilian Brückner plays a Munich resident who, as a failed father and husband, is sent back to earth from the afterlife in order to straighten out his karma.

The people of Munich have a bad reputation in heaven too, they simply don't want to fit in with the heavenly processes and are annoying with all kinds of special requests. Brückner plays the character of Wiggerl less as a grump than as a likeable hallodri: a cab driver with a side job as a drug courier and a disgraced father and husband who muddles through life with a fuzzy head and lederhosen. For a change, God is played by a woman (Ina Mueller). She takes the first opportunity to send the troublemaker back to earth with a letter to the Bavarian authorities and the chance to fill his karma clock, which is set to red, with green again. He can now walk through walls, touch nothing and is invisible to the living, with the exception of his daughter and father.
