Nadine is doing everything she can to stay young, toned and attractive even at 50. But when her husband turns to a prostitute, she is plunged into a deep life crisis. What does the other woman have that she doesn't? Her daughter Lilly is busy writing a school essay about the invisibility of women in history. Her teacher Vicky misses her partner Franz, who has retreated to the mountains because she is no longer sure whether isolated togetherness is the right life model for her. Sonja and Milan, who find it difficult to listen to each other, have separated in the meantime, but are trying to find a common language again in a family therapy session.
After Karoline Herfurth was in the top 10 of the German cinema charts for weeks in 2022 with her third directorial work "Wunderschön", a sequel to the heart-warming episodic film is now back, again full of comedic ideas (taken from life), but with a somewhat stronger "second level".
