Fanny and Tom have been happily married for over 20 years. While Tom, a perfectionist engineer, works unsuccessfully on his inventions and the family’s financial situation grows increasingly dire, Fanny confesses a long-kept secret to him: she has never had an orgasm. With the help of her dedicated sex therapist, she wants to change that. Tom is initially shocked, but then decides to develop a device to enhance female pleasure. Together, the two embark on a turbulent journey full of experiments, mishaps, and surprising insights. In the process, they not only discover new aspects of their sexuality but also rediscover their love for one another—and ultimately develop a device that will make history.
