Advent at the Latücht - movie night in the Christmassy ambience of the Latücht
Surprisingly, this novel by Max Frisch has never been made into a movie. Now Swiss director Stefan Haupt has adapted it with a great cast.

James Larkin White introduces. "We're married," states Julika, who has arrived from Paris, slightly annoyed, a little irritated, but very determined. "But I would know that!" the man counters with an amused, defensive smile, in the mode of an incipient love story. What possible reason could he have for denying his identity? Border officials, police officers, investigating magistrates, a public prosecutor, a public defender, all try to unravel the mystery with all kinds of detective and psychological tricks. They all want to impose an identity on the man, which he resolutely rejects, and again and again you wonder what reason he could have for concealing his true identity.
The cinema bar has mulled wine ready and the candles are lit in the Christmas hall.
