Beach walk with VEREIN JORDSAND zum Schutz der Seevögel und der Natur e. V.
On this guided beach walk, VEREIN JORDSAND invites you to rediscover the Baltic Sea coast with its special habitats. Together we explore how the sea, beach and dunes are formed and which animal and plant species are at home here. The focus is on both the importance of this coastal landscape and its protection.
An interesting and nature-oriented tour for anyone who wants to learn more about the Baltic Sea and its coastal world.
The event is free of charge with your UsedomCard (show it when required). Registration is required, limited number of participants! Register online via trassenheide.de or via the tourist information office. We reserve the right to cancel the event if the minimum number of participants is not reached. In this case, we will contact you in good time.
Registration for the event is generally not intended for groups of more than 6 people. If you are still interested, please contact veranstaltung@trassenheide.de by email or call 038371 20928 and ask to be put through to the events department

Note Parking spaces near the beach
There are sufficient bicycle stands available on site. If you arrive by car, you can park it in the Strandstraße/Dünenstraße parking lot for a fee. Please enter Dünenstraße 2 into the navigation system. The parking lot entrance is on the left side of the street. It is approx. 300 m to the main beach entrance.
The Festwiese and VOSTRA parking lots in front of the Trassenmoor train stop are also available as alternative parking spaces (for a fee). It is approx. 1 km to the main beach entrance.
Note Toilets near the beach
There are several public toilets on site (Strandstraße/on the beach promenade - beach access 9G), which can be used free of charge. The toilet building located directly on Strandstraße is equipped with a disabled toilet. A Euro key is required for this.
