The FiSH - Film Festival has been presenting the best short films by up-and-coming young talents in Gessin again this year since 2004.
The nationwide short film competition JUNGER FILM is the centerpiece of the festival. Films with a maximum running time of 30 minutes are shown by filmmakers who are no older than 26.
The FiSH stands for a communicative atmosphere between filmmakers, expert jury and audience. This makes the festival "a school for talking about film". After each film screening, there is not only a film discussion with the filmmakers, but the jury, consisting of directors, actors, critics and authors, also hold public discussions on stage.
