A refuge of peace and relaxation to the east of Rostock with a large castle park. In 1925, Prince Friedrich Sigismund of Prussia acquired the Kölzow estate as a summer residence and for his passion, equestrianism. It remained in his possession until 1945. The current host, Augustin von der Lühe, took over the management of the estate from his parents, who found a "new" home in their "old" homeland here in Kölzow in 1997.
