Their last visit to the Gessiner Mittelhof was two years ago and yet this concert is still a fond memory.
Matthias Ehrig (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, stompbox) and Andreas Uhlmann (trombone, flugelhorn, beatbox, synthesizer) are "Mehr Als Wir". The band name is a promise. Using loop techniques and clever arrangements, the two musicians create an unexpectedly full band sound. Stylistically, "Mehr Als Wir" realize a mixture of pop, jazz, EDM and acoustic world music. Despite various detours into the serious side of life, the band's music is simply a joy to listen to. The songs are full of twists and surprises. Like pictures on photographic paper in a darkroom, their songs evolve - to stay.
