Interactive workshop, on 27.11.2024, 19:00 in the Wollhalle Güstrow

Against the backdrop of the recently published National Forest Inventory, we want to examine and discuss current issues relating to the state of our forests. Especially today, in times of climate change and increasing environmental changes, our forests are facing major challenges. It is more important than ever to raise awareness of the importance and need for protection of this unique ecosystem.
As part of the workshop, we would like to give you the opportunity to gain exciting first-hand insights into the current situation of our forests from experts. In addition to the state of the forest in Germany and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, we would also like to shed light on the special situation in the Güstrow Forestry Office and provide insights into current research on the health of trees in the Demmin area.
Our aim is to promote the exchange between experts and interested citizens in order to strengthen the understanding and appreciation of the forest in society.
We would like to invite you to see this workshop as an opportunity to exchange ideas, learn and also contribute your own perspectives and questions. Because only together can we tackle the challenges and find ways to sustainably secure our forests.
