Author Marcus Thielemann presents his book about sheep and wolves, young and old, present and past. The book brings us closer to the young shepherd Jannes and his daily life in the Lüneburg Heath, which is coming under increasing pressure between bureaucracy, wolf sightings and very practical everyday family worries. The problems described in the novel have also reached us in the Mecklenburg Lake District and are highly topical.
