On Saturday, July 12, 2025, the Barlach town of Güstrow invites you to the Gallery Mile Day. From 10 am to 5 pm, seven galleries and two studios will open their doors in the old town. Visitors can expect a diverse insight into Güstrow's art scene - with free admission.
You can look forward to inspiring works, exciting encounters with artists and guided tours that will give you a deeper insight into the Güstrow art landscape. The gallery tours start at 11:00 and 14:00 at Güstrow Information, last approx. 2.5 hours each and cost €8 per person.
Another special highlight is the exclusive guided tour through Mecklenburg's oldest cellar, which starts at 13:00 (duration: approx. 1 hour, admission free).

Accompanying the gallery visit, a varied program awaits you in the city centre - with live music, walking acts and other activities.
In the afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m., the Fair Picnic on the meadow by the cathedral invites you to linger. As a certified fair trade city, Güstrow presents fair and regional specialties. You are welcome to bring your own picnic blanket and food - or treat yourself to culinary delights on site. Live music and hands-on activities create a relaxed atmosphere.
