About Beatrice Weidner:
Resident in MV, 55 years young. I have been painting and writing since my early childhood. Even then I was inspired by colors, they took me into a colorful "dream" world. I like to play with them, to bring different colors into geometric, symmetrical shapes. Part of each of my paintings is a "golden eye".
Due to my congenital one-sided visual impairment, irregularities are also part of the
"Golden Eye", irregularities in symmetry are also part of my personal trademark. With my pictures, I want everyone to "lose themselves" in them, to dream away or even to recognize their own soul color. According to the motto - Your soul is unique - so are you - I have started to create different colored soul circles. However, my painting portfolio also contains expressions of perspectives on the big picture! Everything revolves around the fact that we navigate through life together, through tides, ups and downs. The colorful world and many facets of our spirit, the soul, make life so exciting, colorful and unique.

3 p.m.: READING: Poems against war, especially poems by famous female poets: Rose Ausländer, Hilde Domin, Nelly Sachs, Mascha Kaleko and Anke Gebauer, selected and read by Anja Röhl

5 pm: JAZZ in the KUNSTHAUS with Hans Jürgen Kampa (saxophone) and Nico Cleemann (piano) Julian Erdem (drums) and Christian Müller (bass)
