Children's Sailing Course at Lake Kummerow

The perfect introduction to the world of sailing for children ages 8 and up at Segel Basis Salem. The focus here is on gaining hands-on experience and having fun. An exam for the Junior Basic Sailing Certificate is available upon request.
Over the course of 18 hours spread across 5 days, children ages 8–11 learn to sail in a fun and playful way. The focus is on hands-on practice on the lake. Our sailing instructors are trained in education and have been teaching with patience and enthusiasm for years. After the course, participants can take the exam to earn the Junior Basic Sailing Certificate.
The Salem Sailing Center is located directly on Lake Kummerow, on the grounds of the Kolping Ferienland. The lake is a real hidden gem for sailors, because unlike Lake Müritz, there is very little boat traffic here during the summer months. There is a campground and a restaurant right next to the center.
