The Kinder-Jugend-Kunsthaus Güstrow is a registered non-profit association that was founded in 1994. The basic idea is to support children and young people in their personal development by providing opportunities for artistic activities outside of school hours in stimulating workshops. The sensory and intellectual stimuli are intended to arouse curiosity and the desire to experiment, thus enabling creative paths for new experiences.
The exhibition "Probierwerkstatt Kunsthaus Güstrow - Eigene Wege finden in der Kunst" will be officially opened on 17.06.2025 at 1.30 pm together with students from the youth art school. Works from 5 courses offered by the Kunsthaus will be on display.
The Alleswerkstatt is a course for children in grades 1-4 from Mühl Rosin. In this course, the children are introduced to different materials and artistic techniques.Freestyle is for young people from the 5th grade. Graphic design, comics, painting, street art - this course is about finding your own way in art. Individual and group works are created. Both courses are accompanied by the painter and sculptor Andreas Hedrich.
