Macro photo exhibition: Local insects on a grand scale in the churches of Saal and Bodstedt
The first joint exhibition in the churches of Saal and Bodstedt under the motto "Discover! Inspire! Protect!" has opened. Over 30 enchanting macro photographs of native insects can be admired as part of the traveling exhibition of NABU Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The large-scale photographs were taken by Katrin Kunkel, Johann-Christoph Kornmilch and Michael Luhn, who are intensively involved with the life of insects. All the photographs are accompanied by interesting information. There are special explanatory texts for children for each animal.
In addition to information on the insects photographed, the exhibition also includes numerous tips on how everyone can do something to help this endangered class of animals survive.
Children are very welcome in the Open Summer Churches: puzzles, explanatory texts and quizzes provide entertainment. The divided yet joint exhibition invites you to go explorer hopping from church to church on the southern Bodden coast.
