"The horizon is merely a rhetorical figure"

  • from 4.00€ to 6.00€

To mark the 250th anniversary of Caspar David Friedrich's birth, we asked poets to take a fresh look at icons of Romanticism and react to them. These reactions have resulted in a volume of poems by more than 70 participants, illustrated by students of the Caspar David Friedrich Institute at the University of Greifswald. The contributions are as diverse as the contemporary poetry landscape, with everything from genuine New Romanticism to cynical criticism to be found here.

The book will be presented by Anne Martin, Tobias Reußwig and Dirk Uwe Hansen, who will introduce their favorite poems.
