Wool and flax were once spun and woven in winter or baskets and panniers were woven from willow rods. You can experience this traditional craft regularly at the AGRONEUM Alt Schwerin!
Basket weaving is a traditional craft that was practiced especially in the cold season, during the long winter months. Willow rods were collected and woven into baskets and panniers to enrich the household.
