This year, we are presenting the "Kurz.Film.Tour. 2025: Now!" Every year, the Short.Film.Tour. travels through cinemas with the nominated and award-winning films of the German Short Film Award. For SHORT FILM DAY, a program was put together to match the theme "NOW!".
The film program presents four impressive stories in which the characters assert themselves against their environment and circumstances and fight for their place in life. In FIRE DRILL, a young Ukrainian seeks his place in the crew of a container ship just as his country is being invaded. In EIN EINZELNE TAT, the director reconstructs the circumstances surrounding the death of a young Yazidi in her home town of Celle. In SKIN ON SKIN, two young men fight for space for their feelings and in MELODIES OF BARKING DOGS, a young man asserts himself against the dynamics in his group of friends.
Age recommendation: from 18 years
