As a young man, the Icelandic student Kristófer fell in love with the Japanese woman Miko in London. However, she suddenly disappeared from the British metropolis - and thus from his life. Some 50 years later, Kristófer has long since returned to his home country of Iceland and revisits his life. What if things had been different back then? He goes in search of Miko in Japan...
