Film project/short film: St. Jakob Kasnevitz Chapel

The video shows film sequences of the reality of life for African-Americans: protests and police violence, celebrations, pop events, trance and dance as well as pleas for freedom. There is footage of civil rights demonstrations in the 1960s, of Malcolm X, Drake, Beyoncé and Walter Scott, a 50-year-old African American who was shot dead by a white police officer in 2015. The video is in the possession of major museums in New York, among others. The video is owned by major museums in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Atlanta and will now be shown in the chapel in Kasnevitz on the island of Rügen with the kind permission of the artist.
