Dance of the Cranes | Birgit Will
An exhibition between observation of nature and inner awakening
The Haus des Gastes Graal-Müritz cordially invites you to the exhibition "Dance of the Cranes" by the artist Birgit Will - a homage to the beauty of the North German landscape, the elegance of the bird world and the quiet, persistent path of artistic self-realization.
Birgit Will, born in Rostock and deeply rooted in the Mecklenburg lake and Bodden landscape, found her way to painting at an early age. Nevertheless, her life initially took her down a different path - studying numbers instead of colors. But the desire to paint, to create, to see and to understand remained omnipresent. Today, after years of waiting and maturing, she devotes herself to art with great passion.
In "Dance of the Cranes", Birgit Will shows a selection of her works in which she captures wildlife, landscapes and natural movements in impressive snapshots. The cranes, as a symbol of freedom, harmony and change, are emblematic of her own artistic path - a path that is characterized by close observation, a keen sense of color and form and a deep love for the nature of her homeland.
In her pictures, she combines photography, the study of nature and artistic interpretation to create a very personal visual language. What begins as a photograph becomes a lasting expression of atmosphere and memory through her painterly interpretation. Her works invite us to pause for a moment - to reflect on the essentials, on the beauty in everyday life, on the quiet movements of nature.
With this exhibition, we are delighted to present not only an artist who has found her very own expression, but also an artistic sign of life that encourages us not to give up on our dreams.
