Vita
Dr. Norbert Köhler, born in Swinemünde in 1941, was shaped by an eventful life that led him via Schleswig-Holstein and Rhineland-Palatinate back to his home region of northern Germany.
From an early age, he developed a deep connection to nature and the visual arts. This passion accompanied him throughout his life and manifested itself in his continuous artistic work through drawing and painting. During his active career as a doctor, the intensive pursuit of his creative activities naturally had to take a back seat - a restriction that ended when he retired.
Today, Dr. Köhler lives in the town of Island of Usedom on the island of the same name and devotes more time to his artistic work. As a member of the Künstlerbund Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e.V. in the Bundesverband Bildender Künstlerinnen und Künstler, he is firmly anchored in the regional art scene.
