Yin yoga is a way of practicing yoga that involves passively remaining in a posture. This type of yoga stimulates connective tissue, fascia and organs. As few muscles as necessary are used. Natural gravity allows us to sink deeper - without wanting or having to. Lingering for minutes in stretches alternates with neutral balancing positions. This leaves enough time to feel the effect on your own body in silence.
