5th Barth Library Talk

5th Barth Library Talk

At the 5th Barth Library Talk, the will of the priest Hermann Hoet from 1398 with the first mention of the Barth library will be analyzed in detail for the first time. In addition, other renowned speakers have been invited to present the latest developments in regional history and the cataloging and research of historical library collections. In this way, the conference will also make a significant contribution to public awareness of our cultural and historical heritage beyond the Barth Library.

The conference proceedings planned for 2027 will continue the historical publication series started in 2014.

We would like to thank all those who have provided ideas and financial support for this project.

Sponsors: Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation, MV State Fund for Vorpommern and Eastern Mecklenburg, Pomeranian Evangelical Church District. Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Germany
